Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG), a leading energy company involved in the production and supply of liquefied natural gas, is inviting qualified and dynamic candidates to apply for plant operations positions at its Bonny Island facility.

3. Shift Principal Operator

Location: Bonny Island, Rivers State
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Shift Operator (PO/2026/001)
Education: HND in Chemical, Instrumentation and Control, Petroleum/Gas, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Civil, Structural, Environmental, Marine, Metallurgical, Materials, or Software Engineering.
Grade: Minimum of Upper Credit.
Experience: At least 4 years of experience in LNG operations.
Operations Supervisor (PO/2026/002)
Education: HND in a relevant engineering discipline listed in the official vacancy announcement.
Grade: Minimum of Upper Credit.
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in LNG operations, including 3 years in plant operations.
Shift Principal Operator (PO/2026/003)
Education: HND in a relevant engineering discipline listed in the official vacancy announcement.
Grade: Minimum of Upper Credit.
Experience: At least 8 years of experience in LNG operations.
Additional Requirement: Evidence of acquiring 9 Assessment and Progression (A&P) Skill Blocks.
CORE COMPETENCIES
General Competencies: Applicants must demonstrate relevant competencies in plant operations, process monitoring, health, safety and environmental (HSE) compliance, emergency response, problem-solving, teamwork, operational reliability, and continuous improvement.
Supervisor Competencies: Operations Supervisor candidates must also demonstrate strong leadership, people management, coaching, mentoring, and plant optimization skills.
MANDATORY DOCUMENTS

IMPORTANT WORK REQUIREMENTS
These are hands-on, safety-critical plant positions.
Successful candidates must be willing and able to work rotating shifts.
Mandatory use of prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE).
Active participation in emergency response activities.
Ability to meet all applicable fitness-to-work and safety requirements.
