In response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis affecting internally displaced persons (IDPs), the organization is expanding its operations in Borno State and seeking qualified, dedicated professionals for key positions.

1. Assistant Technical Officer, Nurse/Midwife
Location: Damasak, Borno State

Role Summary:
The Assistant Technical Officer (Nurse/Midwife) provides comprehensive nursing and midwifery care, including antenatal, delivery, and postnatal services, to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery to vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing and midwifery care in strict adherence to established medical protocols.
Support comprehensive antenatal, delivery, and postnatal care services.
Conduct patient triage and administer emergency first aid when required.
Assist medical personnel in clinical consultations and medical procedures.
Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential patient records and reports.
Support and strictly enforce infection prevention and control (IPC) measures.
Participate in community health outreach initiatives and health education sessions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary health teams and support capacity-building activities.
Requirements:
Education: B.Sc. in Nursing or Midwifery.
Experience: 1–3 years of post-NYSC clinical or maternity experience.
Licensing: Must be a Registered Nurse/Midwife with a valid, current practicing license.
Language Skills: Proficiency in local languages (Hausa, Kanuri, Fulani, etc.) is strongly preferred.
Operational Readiness: Ability and willingness to work in remote, resource-constrained, and challenging field environments.
2. Accountant
Location: Maiduguri, Borno State
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Summary:
The Accountant supports financial management, internal reporting, and compliance across project activities, ensuring strict alignment with donor standards and organizational financial policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records and internal accounting systems.
Support the preparation of timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Track project budgets and monitor expenditures against approved work plans.
Process vendor payments, cash advances, petty cash accounts, and staff reimbursements.
Assist with internal/external financial audits and donor-specific financial reporting.
Develop, maintain, and reconcile financial spreadsheets and project budgets.
Ensure full compliance with relevant statutory regulations, donor mandates, and internal controls.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive professional experience in accounting.
Sector Background: Direct experience with international NGOs or USAID-funded programs is highly desirable.
Certifications: Professional accounting designations (ICAN, ACA, CPA, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
Key Competencies: Advanced analytical capabilities, financial reporting skills, and proficiency in accounting software/Excel.
