Program Overview
The Fortis Society is officially accepting applications for the 2027 Fellowship Cohort. This intensive, five-month leadership development programme is tailored for ambitious emerging leaders from humble beginnings who are driven to create significant, positive impacts in their communities, professions, and the world.

Location: Online activities, culminating in in-person cohort programming and the Fortis Summit in Medellín, Colombia (June 2027)

Cost: 100% Free (No application or participation fees; programming and summit costs are covered for selected fellows)
Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?
Open to emerging leaders worldwide from all professional sectors and career stages.
Designed specifically for individuals who come from humble beginnings, have built their paths despite limited resources, and are deeply committed to helping others.
No university degree, nomination, or institutional endorsement is required.
What Does the Fellowship Offer?
Expert Mentorship: Direct guidance from an existing Fortis Society member.

Selection Criteria
The selection committee evaluates applications across four core pillars:
Humble Beginnings: Your background and the obstacles you have successfully navigated.
Altruistic Focus: How your ongoing work or activities positively impact others’ lives.
Ambition at Scale: The magnitude of change you envision and the concrete steps you have already taken.
Generosity: Your demonstrated willingness to share knowledge, opportunities, and support with your peers.
Application Requirements
Preparing your application takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. You will need:
A current résumé or portfolio highlighting your work and achievements.
Three short written responses detailing your background and future ambitions.
A two-minute introduction video (easily recorded on a phone or computer).
Availability for a virtual interview if shortlisted.
