KEY PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Acquisition & Networking: Identify and acquire new customers, businesses, and prospective clients to drive financial inclusion.
Financial Product Promotion: Advocate for and promote core banking solutions, including savings/current accounts, personal loans, POS terminals, and modern digital finance tools.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain robust, long-term relationships with individual and corporate clients.
Lead Generation & Conversion: Translate market leads into active, engaged banking customers through strategic marketing and persuasive communication.
Deposit Mobilisation & Growth: Drive account openings, onboarding processes, and institutional revenue growth aligned with professional mentorship targets.
Market Research & Strategy: Conduct practical field and market research to uncover emerging business segments and economic opportunities.
Compliance & Ethics: Master and ensure adherence to financial regulations, compliance standards, and Know Your Customer (KYC) frameworks.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS & ELIGIBILITY
To be considered for this professional development grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualification: Possess a B.Sc. or HND in any discipline from a recognised institution.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Career Drive: A strong, demonstrable interest in sales, marketing, client management, and financial services.
Mindset: A target-driven attitude, high personal initiative, and the resilience to thrive in a structured, performance-oriented environment.
Organisation & Tech Savviness: Strong organisational skills, the ability to work independently, basic computer literacy, and familiarity with digital banking ecosystems.
