Opportunity Overview
The Kaduna Youth Policy Lab 2026 is seeking 25 highly motivated young leaders for an intensive internship and mentorship program focused on governance, public policy, and evidence-based advocacy.
This opportunity is designed to bridge the gap between passion for community development and practical policy execution. Interns will work closely with mentors to analyze local governance structures, develop actionable policy briefs, and engage directly with key government institutions in Kaduna State.
Core Learning Objectives & Benefits
Selected candidates will gain hands-on experience and professional exposure through the following deliverables:
Policy Bootcamp: Participation in an intensive, two-day policy bootcamp covering fundamental research methodologies, budget literacy, and policy design.
Research & Writing: Development of practical policy research skills to craft clear, impact-driven policy briefs.
Mentorship & Collaboration: Peer-to-peer collaboration and direct mentorship from experienced policy analysts and governance practitioners.
Government Advocacy: Direct participation in structured advocacy engagements with relevant Kaduna State government institutions.
