Provide Feedback: Supply concise, actionable written comments highlighting study strengths and methodological weaknesses.
Panel Discussions: Participate in short evaluation calls when multi-evaluator discussion is required.
Maintain Independence: Conduct objective reviews without regard to whether findings align with organizational preferences.
Required Expertise & Qualifications
Prior animal welfare experience is not required. Candidates should possess professional expertise in one or more of the following fields:
Agricultural, livestock, or applied economics
Poultry production science (layer and broiler systems)
Commercial poultry markets in Africa (production, processing, retail, or supply chain)

Trade, customs, and supply-chain analysis
Agricultural engineering, construction costing, or quantity surveying

Perks & Benefits
Honorarium: US$250 per completed assessment.
