About the Role
Careers Verified Limited is looking to hire proactive Entry Level Consumer Lending and POS Sales Specialists across multiple states in Nigeria. In this role, you will drive customer acquisition for consumer lending products and onboard merchants for Point of Sale (POS) services, helping expand our footprint and financial solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Consumer Lending: Identify and acquire new customers, generate high-quality loan leads, assist applicants through the loan process, and maintain strong ongoing customer relationships.
POS Acquisition: Prospect and recruit merchants needing POS terminals, pitch available fintech solutions, facilitate seamless merchant onboarding and activation, and foster relationships to drive transaction volume.
Field Sales & Execution: Conduct field visits, deliver persuasive product presentations, manage daily follow-ups, submit sales reports, and meet assigned daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Requirements
Education: Minimum of an HND or Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field.
Experience: Prior experience in banking, fintech, consumer lending, POS merchant acquisition, or direct sales is an advantage, but ambitious entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Core Competencies: Strong negotiation, communication, direct sales, and interpersonal skills. Ability to self-manage, handle targets, and maintain precise records.
Knowledge & Traits: Familiarity with digital payment platforms and lending solutions is a plus. Must exhibit high integrity, professionalism, compliance, and strict attention to detail.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Volume of verified loan leads and conversion/disbursement rates
Total count of newly acquired POS merchants and activated terminals
Overall transaction volume and merchant retention metrics
Consistency in achieving target metrics
