Program Overview
The Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center for Women and Development is launching the inaugural cohort of its Next Gen Initiative. This flagship 12-month fellowship equips promising young African women with the exposure, experience, mentorship, and support required to advance their leadership trajectories and drive meaningful change in public service and social development across the continent.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Age: 25–35 years old as of October 1, 2026.
Citizenship: Citizen of Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Nigeria, or Sierra Leone.
Education: Holds an undergraduate degree.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of consistent professional experience in public policy, law, development, gender, health, governance, or a related field.
Leadership Profile: Demonstrates exceptional leadership potential, integrity, a commitment to public service, and a clear vision for driving positive social impact in their home country and across Africa.
