About the Role
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) France is seeking qualified and dedicated Nurses to join our Pool/Peak Recruitment in Katsina. Successful candidates will become part of an active talent pool to be deployed based on operational needs and surge capacity requirements.
This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, humanitarian medical care to vulnerable populations in resource-limited and dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities & Scope
Provide direct clinical nursing care, patient assessment, treatment, and monitoring.
Deliver health education to patients and community members.
Maintain professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and non-discriminatory care at all times.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team under changing operational priorities.
Adapt quickly to challenging humanitarian settings and potential deployments across MSF France operational sites.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Licensing: Valid registration and current practicing license with the relevant Nursing and Midwifery regulatory body.
Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant professional nursing experience (clinical nursing, hospital care, emergency, or community health settings).
Skills:
Strong clinical assessment, treatment, and communication skills.
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
Demonstrated capacity to work under pressure in resource-limited environments.
Values: Strong commitment to humanitarian principles, ethics, and non-discrimination.
Assets: Previous experience with MSF or another international humanitarian organization is a strong advantage.
