Position Overview
Job Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Hybrid (Abuja, Lagos, or Kano, Nigeria)
Compensation: $1,500 per month
Role Summary
The Procurement Manager will provide critical procurement expertise to support reliable supply chains and ensure smooth operational workflows. In this role, you will enable Lafiya to expand its reach and deliver essential reproductive health solutions efficiently and transparently.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations: Manage everyday purchase requests, execute competitive tenders, and conduct rigorous vendor due diligence.
Systems Development: Build, maintain, and strengthen procurement systems and processes to scale with Lafiya’s growing operations.
Operational Support: Partner with programme teams to facilitate fast-paced execution while upholding strict procurement standards.
Compliance & Integrity: Ensure all purchasing activities comply fully with organizational policies and donor requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in procurement or operations, ideally within an NGO or donor-funded organization.
Educacion: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of core procurement principles and donor compliance standards.
