About the Role
A reputable commercial bank is seeking experienced banking professionals to fill Relationship Manager positions across multiple locations in Nigeria. This role is ideal for qualified candidates with a strong background in liability generation, deposit mobilization, portfolio growth, customer acquisition, and business development.
Eligible Staff Grades & Age Requirements
Applications are open to candidates currently working in the banking sector at the following grades and corresponding age brackets:
Assistant Banking Officer (ABO): Ages 32–34 years
Banking Officer (BO): Ages 35–37 years
Senior Banking Officer (SBO): Ages 37–39 years
Assistant Manager (AM): Ages 40–42 years
Required Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a B.Sc. with Second Class Lower Division (2:2); OR HND Upper Credit plus a Master’s Degree.
Certifications: NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter.
Secondary Education: At least five (5) O-Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language.
Experience & Key Requirements
Current Employment: Must be currently employed in the commercial banking sector (Note: Candidates from Microfinance Banks are not eligible).
Track Record: Proven experience in liability generation, deposit mobilization, and portfolio growth.
Performance Benchmark: CASA performance requirement of not less than ₦2 billion.
Skills: Strong relationship management, business development, and excellent customer acquisition and retention capabilities.
Market Knowledge: Good understanding of retail, commercial, and SME banking opportunities, combined with established professional networks and strong knowledge of the local business environment within the target locations and surrounding business areas.
Branch Support: Ability to actively support business development and deposit mobilization in assigned branches.
