Empower your green vision and lead Africa toward a sustainable future. MTN, in partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), invites young innovators, green entrepreneurs, and youth-led enterprises to apply for the Africa PachiPanda Challenge 2026.
This pan-African initiative supports digital, entrepreneurial, and community-driven solutions that tackle pressing climate challenges, boost environmental resilience, and generate sustainable economic opportunities across the continent.
Program Overview & Impact
Aligned with WWF’s Making Nature Count strategy and the Mobilising More for Climate initiative, the PachiPanda Challenge builds a pipeline of high-impact green enterprises. First launched in Zambia in 2022, the program expanded to Nigeria, South Africa, Cameroon, and Uganda—receiving over 3,400 applications and supporting 158 finalists in 2025 alone.
Eligibility Criteria
Age: Young innovators aged 18–35.
Entities: Youth-led Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), individual entrepreneurs, and sustainability-focused organizations.
Location: Operating within participating African countries.
Sector Professionals: Employees and enterprises in relevant environmental/sustainability sectors (subject to country-specific eligibility).

Sustainable Agriculture & Conservation: Smart farming practices and natural resource preservation.
Digital & Green Tech: Technology-driven tools for environmental management.

Responsible Resource Use: Circular economy practices and waste management models.
