1. Executive Summary
OPEN for Girls formally invites applications from eligible Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) interested in serving as local implementation and community-access partners for the 4Girls Forward Program.
This initiative is designed to empower girls and young women aged 16 to 25, equipping them with the resources, guidance, and safe spaces necessary to navigate critical educational, career, and personal development opportunities. We are seeking mission-aligned, trusted local entities capable of delivering meaningful impact at the community level.
2. Program Focus & Objectives
The 4Girls Forward Program centers on fostering holistic growth and sustainable empowerment for young women. Partner organizations will play a vital role in facilitating local access, driving community engagement, and ensuring participants receive robust mentorship and support in:
Educational Advancement: Navigating academic pathways, retention, and learning opportunities.
Career Development: Building foundational skills, professional readiness, and economic agency.
Personal Development: Fostering leadership, self-advocacy, health awareness, and life skills.

4. Ideal Partner Profile & Selection Criteria
To ensure the safety, efficacy, and success of the program, prospective partner organizations must demonstrate the following core competencies and qualities:
Deep Community Roots: Established, trusted relationships and strong cultural/social connections with girls and young women within their target communities.
Proven Experience: Demonstrable track record in supporting girls, young women, or broader youth development and empowerment initiatives.
Rigorous Safeguarding Practices: Robust safeguarding policies and protocols in place to guarantee the absolute protection and well-being of all participants.
Operational Capacity: Demonstrated organizational capacity to effectively execute and support program activities on the ground.
Shared Vision & Commitment: A steadfast commitment to advancing opportunities in education, career development, and personal growth for young women.
5. Important Terms & Clarifications
Nature of Partnership: This is a strategic partnership opportunity focused on local implementation and community access for the 4Girls Forward programme. Please note that this is not a subcontracting or direct financial funding opportunity.
Selection Process: Submission of an application does not guarantee selection. Shortlisted organizations will be invited to participate in a comprehensive due diligence process as part of the final partner selection procedure.
Application Preparation: Completing the application form is estimated to take up to 1 hour. Organizations are strongly encouraged to review all requirements and gather necessary documentation prior to starting the form.
