About the Role
NGYouthSDGs is seeking passionate Youth Researchers across Nigeria to support the Youth Voice Naija Project. This initiative aims to strengthen youth leadership and participation in shaping, informing, and monitoring Nigeria’s National Youth Policy (2026–2030).
Selected researchers will play a pivotal role in gathering authentic field data to ensure young people’s experiences, needs, and perspectives directly influence national policy.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct one-on-one interviews with diverse youth populations across local communities.
Drive participant outreach, mobilization, and community engagement.
Gather, document, and manage qualitative and quantitative field data accurately.
Utilize digital tools on smartphones or tablets for efficient data collection.
Participate fully in required research methodology training and scheduled fieldwork activities.
Qualifications & Eligibility
Age: 18 to 35 years old.
Passion: Strongly committed to youth participation, community development, and policy advocacy.
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
Community Connection: Well-rooted within local youth networks and community structures.
Tech Literacy: Proficient in using smartphones or tablets for digital data collection applications.
Availability: Fully available for mandatory virtual/in-person training sessions and field data collection.
