About the Role
Pullus Africa is seeking driven, qualified, and experienced professionals to join our team as Sales Officers. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving sales and revenue growth by cultivating strong client relationships, expanding our customer base, and promoting our premier poultry products and services to smallholder farmers, commercial poultry producers, and agricultural stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed business targets and identify new sales opportunities within the agricultural sector.
Client Relations: Build, nurture, and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both prospective and existing customers.
Market Insight: Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed on customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Sales Execution: Present and promote products, draft competitive sales proposals, quotations, and contracts, and actively follow up to close deals.
Collaboration & Reporting: Coordinate seamlessly with marketing, inventory, purchasing, customer support, and operations teams while maintaining accurate records and submitting regular performance reports.
Lead Generation: Represent the company by attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience, ideally within the agricultural industry or a related sector.
Skills:
Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Exceptional communication and customer relationship management (CRM) skills.
Strong aptitude for identifying client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Solid grasp of market research methodologies and sales strategy development.
