The Federal Ministry of Education, NTI, and TRCN invite applications from practicing educators for the Accelerated Teacher Professional Pathway (ATPP). Designed specifically for active teachers without formal teaching certifications, this accelerated 6-month initiative allows educators to acquire recognized qualifications, enhance classroom practice, and advance their professional standing without interrupting their current teaching roles.
Available Qualification Pathways
ATPP Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE): Designed for university degree holders (B.Sc., B.A., HND, etc.) in non-education disciplines who require professional certification.
ATPP Professional Diploma in Education (PDE): Designed for diploma holders (ND, OND) and other eligible educators seeking professional certification at the diploma level.
Eligibility Criteria
This opportunity is open to practicing educators across various delivery sectors, including:
Non-professional teachers holding non-education degrees, HND, ND, or OND qualifications.
Teachers operating in public or non-state (private) education settings.
Educators in Early Childhood Care and Development Education (ECCDE), Primary, and Secondary schools.
