About the Role
The Big Smile Foundation is seeking a passionate, dedicated individual to join our team as a Volunteer Protection / Project Officer. This role is designed for individuals committed to safeguarding, accountability, and community engagement who want to contribute their skills toward promoting the safety, dignity, and well-being of vulnerable populations.
This position offers a meaningful platform to drive positive change while gaining hands-on experience in humanitarian and community-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Protection & Safeguarding: Support the planning and execution of protection and safeguarding activities across project locations.
Project Implementation: Assist in coordinating and delivering day-to-day project activities and humanitarian initiatives.
Community Engagement: Build trust and work closely with local community members and project teams.
Accountability & PSEA: Uphold Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) and support measures preventing Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA).
Field Support: Contribute to community-based initiatives aimed at empowering local populations.
Applicant Requirements
Strong interest or background in protection, safeguarding, or humanitarian action.
Demonstrated commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and individuals.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-collaboration skills.
High level of responsibility, adaptability, and a strong willingness to learn.
