CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AT GRENCHI (RECRUITMENT 2026)
The Green Environment and Climate Change Initiative (GRENCHI) is an environmental conservation organization incorporated under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. GRENCHI works across Nigeria to advance forest landscape restoration, support the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
We are seeking skilled, passionate, and committed professionals to join our growing team to advance climate action, community-led development, and environmental conservation.
OPEN POSITIONS
Project Coordinator: Lead the planning, implementation, coordination, and reporting of field and community-based projects. Manage multiple work streams, partners, team members, volunteers, and project deadlines.
Finance Officer: Manage day-to-day financial operations, bookkeeping, budget monitoring, statutory tax compliance (FIRS filings), and donor financial reporting across multiple funded projects.
Communications and Media Officer: Lead storytelling, digital communications, online presence, and engagement with government and institutional partners on climate policy to strengthen public voice and advocacy.
Community Engagement and Advocacy Officer: Serve as a field-ready, approachable link between GRENCHI and local communities, facilitating community participation and supporting advocacy activities.
Field Operations and Restoration Officer: Hands-on role leading and directly participating in field activities, restoration work, and conservation projects.
Field Assistants (Multiple Vacancies): Provide day-to-day operational support for field work, restoration efforts, and community engagement initiatives.
