Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team in Kano. The successful candidate will operate company vehicles safely, providing transportation for staff, authorized individuals, projects, campaign activities, airport movements, distribution runs, and emergency/ambulance responses as required.
Key Responsibilities
Safe Transportation: Transport employees, patients, and authorized individuals safely and efficiently, maintaining assigned pick-up/drop-off schedules.
Vehicle Maintenance: Inspect assigned vehicles daily before use to ensure safety; clean and maintain vehicles in proper working condition; report mechanical issues or damage promptly.
Compliance & Safety: Strictly adhere to traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies regarding mobile phone use, smoking, and prohibited equipment while on duty.
Incident Reporting: Promptly report all safety, security, and driving incidents to the supervisor.
Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional, respectful, and friendly attitude toward management, colleagues, patients, and visitors.
Requirements
Education: Secondary School Certificate (SSCE/WAEC/NECO) and valid, relevant driving license(s).
Experience: Prior experience as a professional chauffeur or driver.
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of automobile repair and routine vehicle maintenance.
Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with local streets, routes, and major destinations in Kano State.
Communication: Ability to understand and follow written and spoken instructions clearly.
Compensation & Benefits
Gross Salary: NGN 98,000 / month
