Advocacy for Resilience and Innovative Solutions for Youths, Women and Children Empowerment (ARISE) invites applications for its upcoming Micro-Agri Enterprise Training. This program is designed to strengthen the knowledge, technical skills, and operational capacity of individuals engaged in agricultural enterprises and value chain activities.
Program Overview
The training offers practical, actionable knowledge aimed at building sustainable, market-ready, and resilient agribusinesses. Key thematic areas include:
Enterprise & Business Development: Designing viable agribusiness models and operational plans.
Business & Financial Management: Basic bookkeeping, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
Market Access & Linkages: Strategies for identifying buyers, entering new markets, and building supply chain relationships.
Value Addition & Innovation: Techniques for upgrading raw agricultural products to increase profit margins.
Business Growth & Scaling: Strategic planning to expand market reach and strengthen long-term commercial viability.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements:
Active Agribusinesses: Currently engaged in an agricultural enterprise or value chain activity.
Emerging Agribusinesses: Possess a well-developed, actionable agribusiness concept actively being established.
Inclusion Notice: Women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) who are currently running or seeking to establish agricultural enterprises are strongly encouraged to apply.
