About the Role
Talent Lab Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced CROWN State Focal Person to lead the implementation and coordination of the Community Reorientation Women Network (CROWN) initiative under the Smiles for Mothers programme.
In this role, you will lead efforts to improve maternal health service uptake and strengthen community engagement across Katsina State. We are looking for a proactive leader with exceptional coordination, stakeholder engagement, and project management capabilities to drive impactful community-focused maternal health interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Leadership & Coordination: Lead the implementation and operational delivery of the CROWN initiative in Katsina State according to agreed work plans and timelines.
Stakeholder Engagement: Support collaboration and build strategic relationships with the State Primary Health Care Development Agency (SPHCDA), government health institutions, healthcare workers, and programme partners.
Community Mobilization: Oversee community engagement activities designed to increase the uptake of maternal health services across local networks.
Resource & Budget Management: Support the effective administration of programme resources, task allocations, and project budgets.
Monitoring & Reporting: Support project planning, track progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare clear, timely technical reports for stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Identify operational implementation challenges and develop practical, field-level solutions to ensure project goals are met.
Eligibility Criteria
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Public Health, Global Health, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of consulting or professional experience within the health sector.
Government Alignment: Prior experience working with State Primary Health Care Development Agencies (SPHCDAs) is highly preferred.
Technical Expertise: Demonstrated track record in community engagement, programme coordination, and project management.
Language Skills: Full fluency in written and spoken English is required; professional proficiency in Hausa is a strong added advantage.
Core Competencies: Excellent report-writing, networking, leadership, organizational, and budget management skills.
