The Governing Council and Management of the Federal University Lafia (FULAFIA), Nasarawa State, invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill various Academic and Non-Teaching staff positions within the institution.
1. Academic Staff Positions
Applications are invited from candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, and academic leadership for the following roles:
Professor
Associate Professor / Reader
Senior Lecturer
Lecturer I
Lecturer II
Assistant Lecturer
Academic Disciplines / Faculties:
Computing & IT: Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, and related fields.
Health & Medical Sciences: Nursing Science, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, and allied disciplines.
Sciences & Agriculture: Physical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences.
Humanities & Social Sciences: Arts, Education, Management Sciences, Social Sciences.
2. Non-Teaching Staff Positions
Qualified candidates are also invited to apply for the following administrative, technical, and professional roles:
ICT & Technical: Programmer II, Technologist II
Finance: Accountant II
Healthcare & Medical: Medical Officer, Pharmacy Intern, Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Laboratory Technician
Eligibility & Entry Requirements
Academic Positions: Candidates must possess relevant postgraduate qualifications (Master’s Degree / Ph.D. as applicable) from recognized institutions, alongside required teaching experience, scholarly publications, and professional affiliations corresponding to the rank applied for.
Non-Teaching Positions: Candidates must hold relevant academic qualifications (B.Sc., HND, or relevant technical certificates), valid professional certifications/licenses (where applicable), and completion/exemption certificates from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
