About the Role
CleanWave Recycling Company Limited is inviting applications from passionate and committed individuals to join its growing team as Community Managers for Waste Collection in Kano State.
This position is designed for driven leaders who want to contribute directly to cleaner communities, advance climate action, and support responsible waste management and circular-economy initiatives at the grass-roots level. Selected managers will drive community engagement and oversee local waste collection activities within their assigned areas.
Eligible Local Government Areas (LGAs)
Applicants must be current residents of one of the following LGAs in Kano State:
Gwale
Tarauni
Nasarawa
Dala
Fagge
Kano Municipal
Key Responsibilities
Engage directly with local residents, businesses, and neighborhood stakeholders to promote responsible waste disposal and recycling practices.
Coordinate and support waste collection operations and field activities within your assigned LGA.
Drive community awareness around circular-economy initiatives and environmental sustainability.
Serve as the primary local point of contact for CleanWave’s waste management operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Minimum qualification of SSCE.
Location: Must be a verified resident of one of the six eligible LGAs listed above.
Passion: A strong, demonstrated commitment to climate action, environmental sustainability, and waste management.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong interest in community engagement and field activities.
Experience: Prior involvement in environmental campaigns, community organizing, or waste management activities is an added advantage.
